경희대 치전원 치과보존학교실 의 "Endodontic treatment of an anomalous anterior tooth with the aid of a 3-dimensional printed physical tooth model"이 Journal of endodontics의 2015년 케이스 리포트 분야 최우수 논문으로 선정돼 2016 Journal of Endodontics Awards를 수상하게 됐다.

김 교수는 다음달 6일 미국 샌프란시스코에서 열리는 미국근관치료학회(AAE, American Association of Endodontist)의 시상식에 참석할 예정이다.

이번 수상은 한국 보존학교실 교수 중 최초로서 대한민국 치과보존학의 명예를 높이는 데 일조한 것으로 평가된다.
